The latest generation of water and dirt repellent coating from Gtechniq is the EXO v5. This coating uses decades of experience in coatings to create the best hydrophobic coating on the market. EXO v5 makes the paint extremely smooth, water and dirt resistant and protects the paint from wax scratches and chemicals.

Because EXO v5 is so water and dirt repellent, dirt adheres much harder to the surface so your car will stay cleaner longer. In addition, the dirt will be much easier to remove during a wash as it will come off much more easily. Because water cannot remain on the paintwork, you also dry your car in record time without leaving water spots. The chemical resistance of EXO v5 ensures that you can also treat your car with non pH neutral agents without the protection completely disappearing. Because EXO v5 is such a hard coating and washing and drying becomes so much easier, the chance of wax scratches is reduced to a minimum!

The EXO v5 is the improved formula of EXO v4. EXO v5 needs only 1 coat for full effectiveness where EXO v4 needed 2 coats. In addition, V5 is also much smoother, more water and dirt repellent and gives the paint better protection against road salt and chemicals than V4.

EXO v5 also has a very user-friendly application. EXO v5 will dry quite slowly on the paint which also makes it more forgiving than other coatings. You will notice that when the coating starts to sweat that it is ready to be wiped off with a microfiber cloth.

There is only 1 applicator included in the package, for almost all cars you will need 2 or more applicators.

The coating needs a drying time of 12 to 24 hours. This is fairly standard for any coating, but so is not ideal for outdoor use.

  1. Gtechniq EXO v5 can be applied as a stand-alone coating or as a top coat for Gtechniq C1 Crystal Lacquer or Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light (CSL) - we recommend applying C1 or CSL as a base coat for extra durability.
  2. If applying over C1, EXO v5 should be applied at least 4 hours but less than 12 hours after you have completed the C1 application.
  3. If applying over CSL, EXO v5 should be applied at least 1 hour after the CSL.
  4. Make sure your vehicle is not in direct sunlight but is warmer than 5 degrees Celsius, is completely dry and remains dry for at least 12 hours after application.
  5. Wash and decontaminate your paint thoroughly with a good shampoo, iron remover and tar remover before applying.
  6. If necessary or desired, polish the lacquer, by machine or by hand, and remove defects. All defects that are present in the paint before the application of EXO v5 will remain in the paint for the duration of the coating!
  7. Spray Gtechniq Panel Wipe on a microfiber cloth and wipe each panel in small sections. If you are applying over newly applied C1 or CSL, this step is not required.
  8. Shake the bottle of EXO v5 well and wear gloves.
  9. Prime the AP2 Ultra Soft Foam Filled Applicator evenly with a good amount of product so that the pad is saturated.
  10. Place the lid back on the bottle and set it aside - do not hold the bottle in your hand as this promotes premature curing.
  11. Apply in overlapping motions to an area approximately 60 by 60 cm.
  12. Remove the residue after 1 to 2 minutes with a microfiber cloth possibly you should wipe the same area several times with a microfiber cloth, but avoid doing it with too much force.
  13. We recommend using 2 cloths at a time. Be sure to rotate the cloths during residue removal to prevent EXO v5 from curing in the cloth.
  14. Inspect the surface for residue with a bright light source.
  15. As soon as you are done, put your microfiber cloths in water, wash and dry them as soon as possible. However, we recommend that you simply discard your microfiber cloths that you used to remove the coating to avoid possible damage to the paint when you next use them.
  16. After applying Gtechniq EXO v5 U, you should keep the car away from water and dirt for 12 hours. In addition, the car should also remain at temperatures of 5°C and 25°C to ensure proper drying and curing of the coating.
  17. Curing of the coating can be accelerated with a specialized infrared dryer for the lacquer. This can also potentially enhance the hydrophobic properties of the coating.
  18. After the coating has dried we do not recommend washing the car or using other chemicals on the car for the first week. However, if the car gets dirty between the first 24 hours and the following 6 days, you can rinse it with water.
  19. For good coating durability, we recommend maintaining the coating every 2 months with Gtechniq C2 Ceramic Sealant.
  20. Store the product in a dry, cool place.
  21. Use within 3 months of opening.

Dit scherm is geschikt voor volgende modellen met BMW iDrive CCC of CIC en dat ook AUX hebben. Het is soms mogelijk dat uw auto wel een AUX poort heeft maar dat deze nog niet geactiveerd is. Contacteer ons indien dit het geval is.

Wij bezorgen je een handige handleiding van hoe je de box juist moet installeren. Heb je toch vragen terwijl je aan de installatie bezig bent dan kan je ons steeds via mail of WhatsApp bereiken en wij proberen je zo snel mogelijk te antwoorden.

Scherm laten installeren

Vooraleer we je scherm kunnen installeren zullen we je chassisnummer vragen en ook om foto's te nemen van je iDrive systeem om zeker te zijn dat we het juiste scherm voor je voorzien. Vanaf dat je een voorschot betaald of onze offerte ondertekend hebt kunnen we een afspraak voor je inplannen om het scherm te installeren. Deze installatie duurt afhankelijk van het model dat je hebt 1 tot 2 uur. Indien er extra opties moeten geplaatst worden bovenop het scherm kan dit uitlopen.

Garantie

Het Andream scherm dat we leveren is een kwalitatief systeem dat al toegepast is op duizenden auto's afgelopen jaren. Het systeem is uitgebreid getest en voldoet aan de hoogste verwachtingen en heeft verschillende kwaliteit certificaten. De installatie van het scherm is perfect veilig zolang de gebruiksaanwijzingen nauwlettend worden opgevolgd. Bij het afwijken van de gebruiksaanwijzingen riskeert u dat er problemen zullen optreden. Bij twijfel kan u steeds bij BimmerStore terecht voor installatie.

Bij fouten in het systeem of kapotte onderdelen is het best dat u ons contacteert. U krijgt 2 jaar garantie op de MMI box en de bijgeleverde onderdelen bij correct gebruik volgens de voorschriften.

Sommige onderdelen die door bootmod3 en BimmerStore worden gebruikt en/of geïnstalleerd, kunnen delen van de fabrieksgarantie van uw voertuig ongeldig maken. Sommige onderdelen zijn mogelijk niet legaal voor gebruik op de openbare weg. BimmerStore geeft geen garanties voor de legaliteit van onderdelen die worden gebruikt voor auto's dat gebruikt worden op de openbare weg en aanvaardt geen verantwoordelijkheid voor de naleving van de fabrieksgarantie van het voertuig of het falen van de autokeuring.

De leidingdruk is afhankelijk van het actuele koppel van de motor en deze optie is alleen actief in situaties met een hoog koppel, niet tijdens normaal rijden. Alleen activeren indien nodig, bijv. bij het inschakelen van Clutch-Slip in de 6e versnelling (8HP) of 4e versnelling (6HP).

Drag Race Mode


De Drag Race Mode is ontworpen om het maximale uit je transmissie te halen en je 0-100 en 100-200 tijden te verbeteren! Koppelreductie tijdens het schakelen is volledig uitgeschakeld, de schakeldruk is maximaal en de drempels voor koppelingsbescherming zijn verhoogd, zodat je het volledige vermogen van je motor op de grond kunt zetten, wat er ook gebeurt.


De Drag Race Mode wordt automatisch ingeschakeld tijdens Launch Control en in de modus Sport+/DSC OFF (8 versnellingen) of Manual (6 versnellingen) wanneer je meer dan ongeveer 40% gas geeft. Normaal dagelijks rijden in de Comfort-modus wordt niet beïnvloed.

Launch Control


Met xHP kun je parameters zoals launch-RPM, wielslip, rembekrachtigingskoppel en nog veel meer aanpassen om je prestaties vanaf de lijn te verbeteren! De launch control van je BMW is geconfigureerd voor een standaard wagen, maar bij getunede wagens moet je deze aanpassen om optimale prestaties te bekomen. Gemakkelijk te begrijpen schuifregelaars maken aanpassingen aan je Launch Control een kwestie van seconden.
