Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light also known as CSL is the private version of the world famous Gtechniq Accredited Detailer Crystal Serum Ultra. It offers 80% of the professional performance of Crystal Serum Ultra, but if applied incorrectly, it can be machine polished off your vehicle's paint which is not the case with the Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra.

Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra and Serum Light are the epitome of paint protection when it comes to adding shine, resisting wax scratches, repelling contaminants, dirt and water.

The Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light can provide up to 5 years of protection for your paint when applied by a Gtechniq Accredited Detailer. However, because it is a very easy to use coating, this can also be achieved by detailers that have not completed Gtechniq training and certification if the use manual is followed carefully and the coating is regularly maintained the Gtechniq C2 Ceramic Sealant! This kind of protection, quality and durability is hardly offered by other brands that are privately available!

This also protects the paintwork from chemicals from pH 2 to pH 12 allowing you to safely use any shampoo without affecting the coating.

The complete process of applying the Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light coating:

1. Preparation

  1. The process of applying the coating may take 2 to 4 hours if you are not experienced. Make sure you can work uninterrupted during this period. Washing and polishing the paint is not included in this time frame.
  2. Make sure your vehicle is not in direct sunlight, warmer than 5° degrees Celsius but colder than 25° degrees Celsius. Make sure the vehicle is completely dry and remains dry for at least 12 hours after application and is not exposed to contaminants.
  3. Make sure you also have Gtechniq Panel Wipe, at least 8 edgeless microfiber cloths weighing at least 400GSM and around 8 applicators at your disposal. Gloves are also recommended.
  4. Store the product in a dry, cool place.
  5. Use within 3 months of opening.
2. Paint preparation
  1. Wash and decontaminate your paint thoroughly before applying coatings with a good shampoo, iron remover and tar remover.
  2. If necessary or desired polish the paint, by machine or by hand, and remove defects. Any defects that are present in the paint before the application of CSL will remain in the paint during the durations of the coating!
  3. Spray Gtechniq Panel Wipe on a microfiber cloth and wipe each panel in small sections.
3. Application of Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light
  1. Soak the application pad with 3 full measures of CSL from the pipette and work the liquid into the pad to achieve even saturation.
  2. Place the lid back on the bottle and set it aside. Do not hold the bottle in your hand as this promotes premature curing.
  3. Apply in overlapping motions with the AP2 Ultra Soft Foam Filled Applicator to an area approximately 60 by 60 cm.
  4. Immediately remove residue with a microfiber cloth from the moment you see streaks with globules. You may need to wipe the same area several times with a microfiber cloth, but avoid doing it with too much force.
  5. We recommend using 2 cloths at a time. Be sure to rotate the cloths during residue removal to prevent CSL from curing in the cloth. Also, replace the cloths with new cloths regularly.
  6. Inspect the surface for residue with a bright light source.
  7. Remove residues of Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light with a microfiber cloth if you still see them anywhere. If you cannot get it off with a microfiber cloth, you can try reapplying Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light locally to the area and remove it again with a microfiber cloth immediately after application. If you still cannot remove the cured residue you are forced to re-polish the entire panel and reapply the coating to the entire panel.
  8. As soon as you are done, put your microfiber cloths in water, wash and dry them as soon as possible. However, we recommend that you simply discard your microfiber cloths that you used to remove the coating to avoid possible damage to the paint when you next use them.
4. Aftercare of the coating
  1. After applying Gtechniq CSL, keep the car away from water and dirt for 12 hours. In addition, the car should also remain at temperatures of 5°C and 25°C to ensure proper drying and curing of the coating.
  2. Curing of the coating can be accelerated with a specialized infrared dryer for the lacquer. This can also potentially enhance the hydrophobic properties of the coating.
  3. After the coating has dried we do not recommend washing the car or using other chemicals on the car for the first week. However, if the car gets dirty between the first 24 hours and the following 6 days, you can rinse it with water.
  4. For good coating durability, we recommend maintaining the coating every 2 months with Gtechniq C2 Ceramic Sealant.

Dit scherm is geschikt voor volgende modellen met BMW iDrive CCC of CIC en dat ook AUX hebben. Het is soms mogelijk dat uw auto wel een AUX poort heeft maar dat deze nog niet geactiveerd is. Contacteer ons indien dit het geval is.

Scherm laten installeren

Vooraleer we je scherm kunnen installeren zullen we je chassisnummer vragen en ook om foto's te nemen van je iDrive systeem om zeker te zijn dat we het juiste scherm voor je voorzien. Vanaf dat je een voorschot betaald of onze offerte ondertekend hebt kunnen we een afspraak voor je inplannen om het scherm te installeren. Deze installatie duurt afhankelijk van het model dat je hebt 1 tot 2 uur. Indien er extra opties moeten geplaatst worden bovenop het scherm kan dit uitlopen.

Garantie

Het Andream scherm dat we leveren is een kwalitatief systeem dat al toegepast is op duizenden auto's afgelopen jaren. Het systeem is uitgebreid getest en voldoet aan de hoogste verwachtingen en heeft verschillende kwaliteit certificaten. De installatie van het scherm is perfect veilig zolang de gebruiksaanwijzingen nauwlettend worden opgevolgd. Bij het afwijken van de gebruiksaanwijzingen riskeert u dat er problemen zullen optreden. Bij twijfel kan u steeds bij BimmerStore terecht voor installatie.

Bij fouten in het systeem of kapotte onderdelen is het best dat u ons contacteert. U krijgt 2 jaar garantie op de MMI box en de bijgeleverde onderdelen bij correct gebruik volgens de voorschriften.

Sommige onderdelen die door bootmod3 en BimmerStore worden gebruikt en/of geïnstalleerd, kunnen delen van de fabrieksgarantie van uw voertuig ongeldig maken. Sommige onderdelen zijn mogelijk niet legaal voor gebruik op de openbare weg. Drag Race Mode


De Drag Race Mode is ontworpen om het maximale uit je transmissie te halen en je 0-100 en 100-200 tijden te verbeteren! Koppelreductie tijdens het schakelen is volledig uitgeschakeld, de schakeldruk is maximaal en de drempels voor koppelingsbescherming zijn verhoogd, zodat je het volledige vermogen van je motor op de grond kunt zetten, wat er ook gebeurt.


De Drag Race Mode wordt automatisch ingeschakeld tijdens Launch Control en in de modus Sport+/DSC OFF (8 versnellingen) of Manual (6 versnellingen) wanneer je meer dan ongeveer 40% gas geeft. Normaal dagelijks rijden in de Comfort-modus wordt niet beïnvloed.

Launch Control


Met xHP kun je parameters zoals launch-RPM, wielslip, rembekrachtigingskoppel en nog veel meer aanpassen om je prestaties vanaf de lijn te verbeteren! De launch control van je BMW is geconfigureerd voor een standaard wagen, maar bij getunede wagens moet je deze aanpassen om optimale prestaties te bekomen. Gemakkelijk te begrijpen schuifregelaars maken aanpassingen aan je Launch Control een kwestie van seconden.
